Personal Statement

I am a PhD. Candidate majoring in Software and Theory, Dept. of Computer Science, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. I was born in Beijing in Oct, 1981. After receiving my B.S. degree in Dept. of Computer Science from Fudan University in 2004, I was recommended to master program on Computer Science in Shanghai Jiao Tong University and admitted without exam. In 2006, I was admitted as PhD. Candidate still in Dept. of Computer Science. My current research interests include Machine Learning, Statistical Learning, Pattern Recognition, Biosignal Analysis, Web Search, Data Mining, Visual Neuroscience and Cognitive Neuroscience. I enjoy attending and organizing academic seminars. Im also optimistic, passionate, good at team work and fast learning, and excellent in communication. Moreover, I like sports very much.
